You submit a detailed brief outlining your business goals, main customer and the required deliverables, along with a basic wire-frame of the menu items and any functionality you would like the site to have.
Based on your brief and budget, we’ll suggest a CMS platform that will suit your needs. At this stage we’ll also discuss domain registration, hosting and SEO requirements.
We ask that you create an account with the chosen CMS so that you have full access to your new site and all billings will go directly to you. You grant us access to login to this account.
We will do extensive research and find a template that suits your website needs. We will send you a live example of the template to have a look at and ask that you approve our template choice.
We will also advise of any additional plugins that we may need to add to your site in order to achieve your desired functionality. Some of these do incur additional or ongoing costs, but we’ll explain everything in detail.
Once the template is approved, it is now time for you to supply the full content for your website. This includes all imagery, text and intended links or downloads.
We will start designing your site based on the approved template and supply you with some key pages mocked up so you get a feel for how the whole site will look in this style.
Once you have seen the concept pages and are happy with the direction of your site, you approve the design so we can get cracking on the build.
The fun begins! The full build stage takes us quite a while to do, so please be patient and know we are busy bringing your site to life. We ask that you allow a minimum of six weeks (more for larger builds) for this build stage.
Once we are happy that everything is looking tip top, it’s time for you to login and view your new site. We’ll work with you to make any last minute tweaks and updates.
We’ll do some final checks to make sure all the links are working and everything is exactly how it should be and then we’ll be ready for lift-off. We await your approval to make the site live.
