The challenge

The Zero Net Emissions Agriculture Cooperative Research Centre (ZNE-Ag CRC) was established with an ambitious 10-year mission to help Australian agriculture transition towards net zero emissions.

Bringing together research, industry and government, the CRC needed to turn a complex national ambition into something people could understand, recognise and rally around.

At the beginning of a decade-long collaboration, the challenge was to create clarity around what ZNE-Ag stood for, build a shared identity across a diverse partnership and establish a brand flexible enough to evolve alongside the work.

Our solution

We partnered with ZNE-Ag CRC from the beginning, developing the brand strategy, messaging and identity around a clear idea: bringing science, industry and people together to create a more sustainable future for Australian agriculture.

We translated complex scientific thinking into a clearer, more accessible story, then created a distinctive visual system that balanced scientific rigour with optimism and forward momentum.

Designed to work across research, industry, government and wider audiences, the brand gave ZNE-Ag a consistent way to communicate its ambition, with the flexibility a 10-year initiative needed to grow and evolve.

The result

ZNE-Ag CRC launched with a clear strategic foundation and distinctive identity for the decade ahead.

Today, the brand provides a complex national collaboration with a shared story and recognisable presence—making its purpose easier to understand and giving its partners a consistent platform for communicating the research, innovation and ambition behind the CRC.
